ABOUT THE ARTIST

Evelyn Yee

I am a high school student at Madison Country Day School, graduating in 2020. For me, practicing art is a constructive creative outlet as well as a rewarding way to see improvement in my observational, technical, research, and planning skills.

Through my IB Visual Arts experience, I investigated different cultural perspectives and the influence of time and place on personal and societal values. I have worked with many types of media but personally prefer soft pastels and acrylic paint.
